Woodland Chamber Singers Garner Standing Ovation at Carnegie Hall
Woodland, California May 2, 2014 - The Woodland Chamber Singers (WCS) received a standing ovation following their March 18 performance at the most respected concert hall in the nation, Carnegie Hall in New York City. We're back from chilly New York City where we showcased along with three other choirs for the 2014 New York Choral Festival! We were honored to perform at St Paul's of the Apostle church on Monday March 17th. On March 18th, we performed inside the famous Carnegie Hall, where we received a standing ovation. A member of one of the stellar performing high school choirs exclaimed after our performance, "Wow! this gives me something to look forward to after school music is over!"
